Upload guide: what photo works best

Pick two front-facing portraits, one of each person, with both faces large in the frame.

• Light and quality: Choose a recent photo in bright, even light, in high resolution, with your face in sharp focus. Skip screenshots with black bars or app buttons, photos of another screen, and heavy filters that reshape your face.
• Framing: Upload two separate portraits, not one photo of two people together. The template builds the scene from these two portraits.
• Eyes and gaze: Both people should look toward the camera, eyes open, with no sunglasses and no hair across either face.
• Two photos: Upload two photos, one for each person: first Her photo, then His photo. Each photo should show one person only, front-facing, with their face large in the frame. Take both photos in similar bright, even light, so the two faces match in tone.
• Mouth: Keep both mouths uncovered in the photos — this scene centres on the mouth, so the model needs a clear mouth shape.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Do not use: one group photo instead of two portraits, mouths covered, faces small in the frame, dark or unevenly lit photos.
